JAL publishes operating and cancellation data but not an independently normalized major-incident record with a comparable fleet-exposure denominator, so the safety metric remains excluded.

The 234-aircraft group fleet combines full-service wide-body, narrow-body and regional fleets plus low-cost and cargo aircraft aligned with the published route portfolio.
