What it can include

A fuller picture than a passport can show.

Work & professional life

Explain employment, business ownership, professional responsibilities, or approved leave with evidence a reviewer can verify.

Home & family

Describe family, property, caregiving, community roles, and other responsibilities that make returning home meaningful.

Education

Show enrollment, qualifications in progress, research, scholarships, or study commitments that continue after the trip.

Financial standing

Add carefully selected income, savings, tax, business, or asset context without turning the profile into a document dump.

Travel history

Summarize previous trips, compliant stays, and a consistent record of returning after travel.

References & profiles

Include only consenting references and established profiles that genuinely support the story you are presenting.

Purposefully private

You decide when anyone else can see it.

Home Ties is an online share page, not a searchable public profile. Access is manual, temporary, and reversible.

Private by default

Your workspace and documents stay private until you deliberately create a temporary public view.

Search engines told not to crawl or index

Shared pages instruct search engines not to crawl, index, follow, or archive the profile.

Sharing expires after 60 days

Every public window closes automatically after 60 days, even if you forget to return and switch it off.

Turn sharing off at any time

Revoke access immediately whenever a review is finished; the same link and QR will stop showing the evidence.

Sharing states

What changes when the link is live.

Live linkWhat public means

Anyone with the active link can view the shared profile while the window is open. It does not become a searchable social profile.

Private workspaceWhat private means

The link and QR stop revealing your evidence immediately. Your editable workspace remains available only inside your account.

While sharing is on, anyone with the live link or QR can view the profile. Share it only with people you trust and turn access off when they no longer need it.

Be ready before you are asked

Build the evidence behind your travel story.

Start privately, keep everything in one place, and share only when it helps.

Home Ties organizes supporting context. It is not legal or visa advice and does not guarantee a visa or entry decision.

Common questions

Know before you share.

Home Ties supports your explanation. It does not replace official requirements or the judgment of a consultant, visa officer, or immigration officer.

What is Home Ties?

Home Ties is a private workspace for organizing the work, family, education, financial, and travel context behind your reasons to return home. It helps you explain selected evidence clearly; it is not a visa service, legal advice, or a guarantee of any decision.

Can I include it with a visa application?

If the destination and application channel accept supplementary material, you can print or save a printer-friendly Home Ties summary alongside the official documents. Always follow the embassy, consulate, or application centre checklist first.

Can I show it to an immigration officer while travelling?

You can carry the printable QR card or a paper copy and choose to show it when more context is requested. The officer decides what information is relevant, and Home Ties does not replace passports, visas, tickets, or other required travel documents.

Can a visa consultant review it before I apply?

Yes. You can turn on a temporary shared view and send one organized link during an early consultation, helping the consultant understand your circumstances before advising what may be relevant, missing, or unnecessary.

Will my shared profile appear in search results?

Shared pages instruct search engines not to crawl, index, follow, or archive them. They are not designed as public social profiles, but anyone who receives the active link or QR can view the selected information while sharing is on.

How long does a shared link remain public?

You can turn sharing off at any time. If you do not, every public window closes automatically after 60 days. Your editable profile remains safely available inside your private workspace.
